Inconel 718 (UNS N07718) is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy containing iron, niobium, and molybdenum. It combines high strength, corrosion resistance, and good weldability for elevated-temperature service.

Inconel 718 pipe and tube are supplied as seamless pipe, seamless tube, welded tube and custom tubular products for aerospace, gas-turbine, power-generation, oil-and-gas and other high-strength applications. ASTM B983, ASTM B1007 and AMS 5589 cover different product forms and conditions. Buyers can specify the required diameter, wall thickness, length, heat-treatment condition, testing and documentation.

INCONEL 718 PIPE TESTING AND DOCUMENTATION:

Inspection can include chemical analysis, tensile testing, hardness testing, dimensional inspection, visual inspection, hydrostatic testing or nondestructive electric testing according to the selected product standard and purchase order. Documentation options include an EN 10204 3.1 material test certificate, heat-number traceability, dimensional report, PMI report and third-party inspection report.
