It offers exceptional resistance to reducing and oxidizing acids, stress-corrosion cracking, and localized attacks such as pitting and crevice corrosion. This wire is ideal for highly corrosive environments, especially those involving sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and seawater.Incoloy 825 is widely used in chemical processing, marine and offshore systems, pollution control equipment, and nuclear fuel reprocessing.
